Hey, I’m Heather.

What really leads to long-term success originates from behavioural change. The way we look at and think about food often unconsciously influences our eating behaviour. The function of food is not limited to the nutritional components, but extends much further. We often eat without listening to our satiety or hunger cues and often have strong emotions connected to our food, both positive and negative.

What you can expect

 

A personalised, step-by-step approach to make new habits manageable and sustainable.

An approach based on your food preferences and how you prefer to eat and cook.

No strict restrictions or rules, food is more than just fuel and should be fun and enjoyable.

More than nutrition – goals will be combined with stress, sleep, and movement habits.

How it works

I am convinced that a healthy relationship with food plays a crucial role in both physical and mental health. I will not give you a standard diet plan, but I will teach you how to tackle the source of your nutritional and eating problems. Only after I have gained insight into your mentality around food, we will look for solutions together and set concrete and achievable goals. I focus on teaching healthy eating habits, where there is no room for restrictive diets.

I work from a weight-neutral framework. That is why stepping on the scale is not a standard part of a consultation, nor is discussing your body weight. I believe in health at every size (HAES) and do not use body weight as an indicator of your overall health.

  • Action plan updated and/or amended
